This robot was under development in Toyota, this robot projected to be a personal assistant robot. In Shanghai Expo 2010 this robot didn’t play like an expert violinist. This performance in Shanghai Expo was only a musical demonstration; the real purpose of this performance was a test to see the robot’s movement and precision.
It might look silly that people use robot to ride on their camel on a race. But it’s already been done in Qatar as Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar, banned child jockeys on that race. Robot jockey successfully introduced on an official race in 2005 and by two years all the camel that competes on the race should be directed by robot. RAQBI Center is the company that initiatively produces the jockey robots but the initial idea of using robot jockeys came from the government. RAQBI as the company that produces the robot designed five different robot jockeys with different characteristic and model.
