The Nigeria-Turkish International College Students had won a Global Computer Award in International Computer Project Competition held at Romania in 2006. Mr. Ahmet Yasar Demirkol, as the principal of Nigeria-Turkish International College, told that Nigeria won three Global Computer Awards out of total 313 projects at the competition. It was Abuja, the Nigeria-Turkish International College student, who had earned a silver medal for the country.
