Rhodri Armour a PhD student from the University of Bath created Jollbot, robot that can jump and roll. With this ability this robot could be the key for future space exploration. This robot can jump like a grasshopper and roll like a ball. Jollbot can jump to avoid obstacles and roll in terrain places smoother. So far space exploration robot is too complex and expensive. This problem gave an idea to Rhodri Armour and colleagues in the University’s Centre for Biomimetic & Natural Technologies to work on something that inspired from nature.

This robot project was designed to has special ability in picking up fragile dishes. not only picking up the fragile dishes this robot could also possible in washing them.
